This is very good. I brushed the bread w/olive oil and sprinkled it lightly with garlic powder (instead of rubbing it with the cloves) before broiling. I also added a teaspoon of sugar to the tomato mixture to cut the acidity. Have made this about 4 times now. My husband just loves it!

Nice and easy! This has great flavor, and eye appeal. It was easy to put together and bake. I followed your directions and did not alter anything in the recipe. A nice variety of flavors and textures. Thanks for sharing this recipe. I will be using this one again!

Delicious. Just like bruschetta should taste. I added an extra garlic clove and some extra balsamic since I love a little extra zing! I also drizzled some olive oil on the bread before toasting for extra taste, and they do seem to brown up better for me when I do that. Make sure to "soak" the bread with some of the great juice, too! It softens the bread a bit and gives a great taste that you can't get with just the big chunks. Muy delicioso!

Oh, my gosh! This was so great! My DH and I didn't even eat the spaghetti or garlic bread that I made to go with this. We put shredded parmesan cheese in it then, we ate the whole thing on Garlic Melba Toasts without even putting it in the oven.

I found this bruschetta to be restaurant quality. It was just excellent. I made the tomato mixture a day in advance and scooped it onto the bread just before serving. I left off the cheese and final broiling stage. This tomato mixture would also be fabulous tossed with some linguine...

Delicious bruschetta!!! What an amazing, tasty appetizer & so easy to pull together. Your family or guests will be amazed because this bruschetta is equal, if not better than any you will find prepared by the best Italian restaurants. I made some simple adjustments by adding 1/3 cup of finely diced red onion & also upped the balsamic to 1 tablespoon. For the best taste, use the finest EXTRA virgin olive oil you can find (or afford!) & you will feel like you are in Italy!

After a very busy week, I wanted something easy for dinner tonight. This was excellent. Nice authentic Italian flavor. Used fresh grated parmesan cheese. Served the bruschetta with a little side salad and glass of wine for a delicious, light meal. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

This is my second attempt to review - I forgot the stars the 1st time
.
This was so good. The only changes I made were to add more basil to the tomato and I used an extra clove of garlic to rub on the toast. Thanks so much for a great recipe.

Delicious. My girlfriend told me that this was better than what she had in restaurants which instantly put me in the goodbooks. Really simple, really easy to clean up as well. I added a bit more basil and balsamic to taste, but loved the original.
