The only problem I had with this recipe was that when I put the seasonings in the bag, they clumped up with the oil onto one fry and coated it. I've made this recipe and few times since and what I do now is shake the fries in the ziploc with the olive oil, then lay them out on the baking sheet and sprinkle the cinnamon and garlic powder over them by hand. I also usually serve these with lime cayenne mayonnaise (120459); they go great together!

Absolutely delightful! My boys (4 & 1), husband and neighbors all loved them!!! Thanks for the awesome recipe! We cut them thin and they came out perfectly!Really, they were delicious. UPDATE - we figured out a way to crisp them up! After seasoning in the bag, dump in a couple tablespoons of cornstarch and shake it up one more time. They'll look funny with all the white powder, but it helps them get crispy! Delicious either way though!

Simple and delicious. I used garlic salt and cinnamon, which I wasn't too sure about, but which was quite good. Most sweet potato fries I've tried are very spicy. This recipe is perfect for kids or as a side to a spicy meal. The Ranch dressing was a great tip. One of my sons loved it and actually ate some sweet potato voluntarily. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Very, very good made them almost exactly as written left off the cinnamon (picky eaters) and used three cloves of real garlic rustically chopped. I kept them in the oven a little longer as I like mine very crispy and they were delicious. Thank you for a healthy and great recipe.

i found out that heating the potatoes sligthly make it easier to cut. I am still enjoying this recipe.

A high-end restaurant in our area serves sweet potato chips with homemade blue cheese dressing and it is wonderful so we tried these and used Marie's Chunky Blue Cheese dressing as our dip. DH and I almost fought over the last serving!

I made these using regular baking potatoes and they turned out great! I also added some sliced garlic.

These were awesome! I couldn't cut them so I put them through the salad shooter and made disks. I was afraid of not using a dip for them but they didn't need any. They were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Very good! Thanks for posting!!

We loved this — and the best part was that DH did all the prep work. We prepared it "as is" though I was skeptical about the spice combo. There were four of us eating this and we demolished it (even though we didn't have any ranch dressing on hand!). Thanks for posting. Heidi

I have made this for many years- Try the sweet potatoes with the taco seasoning or cajun seasoning- NOW THAT seems weird but works great and is such a great new way to do sweet potatoes!
