I made this recipie for my family and it was a hit. I made a few modifications that I feel made a good recipie even better: Add 1/2 tsp white pepper Add 1/4 tsp salt (still needed a little extra added at the table) Used 3 cloves of fresh garlic instead of the powder. The simmering is the key to success, just a very slight boil that goes away when you stir, for about 20 minutes. This one is a keeper!

So easy and so good! I do note that we all put salt on it when we were eating. Next time around I'll add some salt and maybe a little white pepper beforehand. Thanks, it's a wonderful recipe and definitely a keeper!

This was such a Gooooood recipe!!!!! I used fresh shredded Asiago cheese instead of parmesan, and I got a wee bit too much in it,but it was delicious all the same, next time I will just do the 1/2 cup of cheese.I also didn't have any heavy cream, but wantd to make this recipe real bad,so I made a thin white sauce. I Used this recipe over Fettucinni noodles.I'm tellng you it was very GOOD!!!! Thanks,Darlene Summers

I made this recipe for my sister when she was up this weekend and she loved it, she wouldn't stop oooohing and ahhhhing while she was eating it. I added shrimp and a little bit of green onions for garnish and they really set it off. My sister said that they are having a progressive dinner in a month and now she hopes she gets the main course because she really wants to use this recipe! Very Good!

So easy, and yet so great. I used a garlic and herb flavored cream cheese and omitted the garlic powder. I used this sauce in Alfredo Shrimp Tilapia Alfredo Shrimp Tilapia for a wonderful dinner. Thanks for posting.

This one is an OMG, WOW!!! Everyone LOVED it!! I crushed 2 cloved of garlic instead of the powder and cooked it a bit with the butter before adding the rest of the ingredients. For the cheese I used a parmesan, romano, asiago shredded blend and used about 1 cup just 'cuz, isn't more cheese always better?!?! From someone's recommendation I simmered on low for close to 45 minutes and then tossed it with mini penne and it was out-of-this world outstanding and worth every calorie!

I wish that I could give this more that 5 stars! This was to die for! I used the garlic swirl cream cheese and added a little parsley for color, but otherwise it was as written. I loved how simple it was to make.. I just let it simmer on the back burner while I threw together the rest of my chicken penne dish. Wonderful!

This recipe was fantastic! Like some of the others I added extras - 4 cloves of fresh minced garlic (We love garlic, the more the better!)salt and pepper, extra cheese, green onions and some garlic sauted chicken (yes, more garlic!) It was Super! Next time I think I will add some fresh broccoli. Thanks again for the great recipe!
