Great recipe. I made it for a bridal shower, and it was a big hit. It's wonderfully moist with a chunky texture. Toasting pecans added flavor. And to cut calories, I used only 1/2 cup oil, adding an extra banana and more pineapple instead. I also made the frosting without the butter. Delicious!

This is a great banana cake. Looking at this recipe, I was trying to figure out what it would taste like, its similar to a spice or carrot cake, just with a yummy banana flavor. My recipe for homemade cream cheese frosting. Thanks for the recipe.

It's not the most-requested for nothing! It's a fabulous cake - you can't go wrong with this one. I baked in a 9x13" cake pan with great success.

I recieved this recipe from my grandma a few years ago . Everyone LOVES this heavenly , moist , rich cake !!! It tastes like it came from a fine bakery but , is sooo easy to make ! My neices devour it when I make it and , it is also a Birthday cake request for the youngest one ! I have never met anyone who does not LOVE this cake . I just want to add that I think it keeps best in the refrigerater , lightly covered . It stays nice and moist that way ! Everyone should give this cake a try ! You wont be sorry !

What a great cake! I made it in one large pan and had to omit the nuts (there's a no nut policy at both of my childrens schools and I wanted to put it in their lunch boxes). The cake took about an hour to cook through because it was in the one pan. The frosting is delicious and this cake was a big hit. Thanks Bev.

I made this for a group of my friends and it was a hit. I did look at some of the other recipes and saw that one added marachino cheeries and so I did. I think I will also try adding coconut to the recipe next time I make this cake.

This was absolutely the best cake that I have ever tasted! I made it for a group of 25 people who raved about it. Thanks for making me look good.
