I knew I should have looked at your recipes first
This was so good, DH had seconds even though he is "suppose" to be on a diet! The soup has excellent flavor. Rich and beefy. It was too easy to make (I don't feel guilty though). I did cheat on one ingredient. I used frozen meatballs instead of the round steak.....still turned out delicious. MizzNezz...you are a wonder! Thanks for sharing this great recipe.

This was just perfect Inez. I put the ingredients in the crock pot in the morning. My mom and I spent the day shopping. We came home to the most amazing aroma and dinner was ready. Doesn't get much better than that. The soup was very well seasoned we thought and wouldn't change a thing. Thanks.

This was a very nice soup. Browned & sauted before adding to the crockpot. leftovers were frozen for another time. Served with fresh bread. Thanks MizzNezz.

I made this today- We did enjoy it. I changed it by using a packet of beefy onion soup mix instead of boulion cubes, and I added corn and green beans. This makes plenty for several meals and is thrifty as well. Thanks for sharing!

I tried this out to break in my new crock pot and it came out better than expected. The meat was very tender and the potatoes were soft but not mushy. I did not add the peas as DH is not fond of them but followed the rest of the recipe to the T. Great soup, hearty and flavorful. Thank you for a great recipe

I loved this recipe. The directions were easy to follow. The only change I made was to add 1/2 cup red wine. Served it with tomato bread and side salad.

Delicious! This soup deserves more than 5 stars. I used my own beef broth made from Kittencal's Wonderful Beef Stock Crockpot Kittencal's Wonderful Beef Stock Crockpot and omitted the beef bouillon cubes. I forgot to add the wine as suggested by other reviewers, although it doesn't need anything else. The aroma was incredible as it was cooking. I made this soup after a big dinner tonight, but we all had to sit down a have bowl. Everyone has put in their request to have this in their lunch tomorrow.

Our family really enjoyed this soup. The only thing I would change next time would be to substitute green beans for the potatoes. This is my personal preference only, and not a stab at the original recipe.

This soup is delicious!! I love how it's made with fresh veggies instead of canned. I made it exactly as it's written and I don't think it could be any better! The beef is so tender! We had enough for dinner for two nights and I'm finishing up the rest for lunch today. This is a recipe that I will make over and over again! Thank, MizzNezz!
