This was an excellent marinade and I liked the fact that it didn't have any honey or brown sugar in it, as a lot of flank steak marinades do. Another plus, most of the ingredients were on hand! I used only 1/2 c. oil, balsamic vinegar(out of red wine vinegar) and only had about 1 1/2 T. of Worcestershire left in the bottle and marinated the meat for about 8 hours. Grilled it for 5 minutes per side and had delicious medium-rare flank steak that the whole family loved! Thanks for a good recipe!

Delicious!! I only had about 5 hours to marinade our steak, but this still made it taste so good! I plan on leaving it on overnight next time. I used our leftover steak the next day, chopped it as thin as I could and cooked it with scrambled eggs, minced onions, kosher salt, and pepper. It was fabulous and I credit the marinade for that. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!!

Preheated the gas grill...Scored the steak in a crisscross pattern every half inch...Doubled the garlic in the recipe...Marinated for 4 hrs. in gallon size resealable plastic bag in the fridge...Flipped the meat after 2 hrs...Placed it over the burner on the hot grill and shut the lid...6 minutes on each side...Removed from the grill and sliced into 1/4 inch slices across the grain...Spooned 8 or 10 tablespoons of the leftover marinde over the sliced meat...Best Flank Steak we've ever had...Thanks for the recipe...

Can I just say, again, this recipe makes flank steak turn into crack for me? I love this plain. I love it left over the next day, sliced thin, on top of a big salad. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for this recipe! GAH! I shouldn't eat this much beef but I can't stop when I make this!

This was fabulous - best flank steak we've ever made. I used 1/2 cup oil, balsamic instead of red wine vinegar, 1 tbsp lemon juice + 1 tbsp orange juice, 3 cloves of garlic, and increased the parsley to 1 tbsp. I also added about a tsp of black pepper to the marinade. It marinated about 6-7 hours total, and I broiled it 5 min per side for perfect medium rare. After broiling I let it rest about 10 minutes. While it was resting I reduced the marinade on the stove top and skimmed off the oil for a delicious sauce. Thanks L DJ for a terrific recipe! I can't wait to have the leftovers tonight!

Very Good. I didn't marinate long and it still had a nice flavor. I used balsamic vinegar and a little less oil.

This is REALLY a GREAT recipe. I marinated the steak overnight and it was so very tender after it was grilled. I also liked the fact that it only had 10 gr. of carbs. This is certainly a keeper!

I substituted Balsamic vinegar for red wine and used Dijon mustard instead of dry and everyone loved it... Definitely a keeper!!!

This has been a favorite in our house for ages as well. I always use it for shish kebobs. Make extra marinade and set aside. Then marinate the meat overnight, dump that marinade, then use the 'extra' to brush on while grilling. (Warning: the oil may cause a flareup with charcoal...but these are DELICIOUS!)

Wow this was great. After starting the make the marinade, I found hubby had used all the dry mustard, so I substituted a tablespoon of spicy mustard. The wole family wants to do it again. Thanks!
