My son LOVES blackberry jam, so I tried this out. It's GREAT! I did cheat and use frozen blackberries, but it was still wonderful.

Excellent Jam! I ended up with about 10 jars so I was pretty excited with the extra. This is beautiful in color, delicious in taste and was so easy. My kids and I have been picking blackberries at a local orchard for the last 4-5 years now and has somewhat become a tradition in my eyes but now I have another wonderful recipe and one that we will use from now on. Thanks so much for this new treasure!

I had always been intimidated by the thought of making jam, that only experienced cooks (meaning mothers) could make it. I was WRONG! My first jam and it turned out perfect!! I was so excited that it came out so good!! They will make nice gifts for friends and family. Thanks for the recipe and clear instructions!!!

Our blackberry jam turned out great and made 11 (8 oz) jars! The recipe was easy to follow and the results were delicious! My son even ate it on a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and said it was delicious. Thanks!

Thank you so much for the recipe, this was my first attempt at jam ( actually my first attempt at canning) I feel in love with it! I did not really care for blackberry's because of the seeds but needed a way to get rid of them (husband brought them home) so I tried this jam I tasted it as I was making the jam and it was so sweet I thought I had ruined it but a couple days later we opened a jar and it was so yummy!!!! It did not taste to sweet at all and the seeds are soft so it don't even bother me... Thank you so much for a wonderful recipe I will use over and over again!

This came out very good. Directions were simple and clear enough. I used last summer's harvest from the freezer. I ended up with seven 8 oz jars and two 12 oz jars. I added some dried Angelica to spice things up. Next time I'll try Lavender.
