These are exceptionally yummy cookies! My guests raved about them. Very sophisticated, for a simple cookie, and a quite acceptable dessert for dinner guests. Pretty too. I used regular oats and it turned out great. I also found that you should't leave the cookies on the sheet for very long or the toffee will harden and they'll stick to the pan!

One of my favorite cookie recipes. I like to dip half of each cookie in melted chocolate and then let them harden. I have to hide some for me otherwise my family will eat all of them.

These were quick and easy to make and a real crowd-pleaser. I know you said 'no subbing' on the butter but I was low on butter and had to do half-and-half with margarine...it seemed to work fine. I had just pulled out my hand-held mixer for this batch, though, and the dough was so thick that next time I'll make sure to use the KitchenAid; it mixed up alright but definitely put my smaller one to its limit. My dd said it tasted like the topping of an apple crisp with toffee in it...very good description, actually. ;o) Dh was thrilled. Thanks for another wonderful recipe, Mizz Nezz!

Yum, yum! I made this recipe into BAR COOKIES! I made exactly as directed and poured the whole batch into a 15x10 jellyroll pan. I pressed it flat with wax paper, then baked for 15 minutes. Made chewy thick bars!

Excellent! I had to exercise a lot of restraint in order to keep from eating the whole batch. My husband and I decided we'd better give some to the neighbors before we ate too many! They were soft and tasty! Thanks Inez!

These cookies are excellent! I used chocolate covered toffee, because that is what I had on hand, and they turned out delicious! I'm having a hard time keeping my hands out of the cookie jar, so I think I will bringing at least half of them to work tomorrow! Thanks Inez for sharing such a yummy recipe!

These cookies were very good and quite easy to make. The oats combined with the toffee bits are a great tast combination. I will be making these again.

Is is OK to crave cookies for breakfast? These are awesome. They held their shape very well, therefore looked "pretty". I baked them on parchment paper for easy clean up as my cookie sheets are cheap and beat up. Thanks Mizz Nezz for another great one.

Absolutely delicious. I didn't change a thing except stir in some Ghirardelli semisweet chocolate chips and extended the baking time to 15 minutes since I had rolled them into compact balls.

Definitely don't leave cookies on pan too long and don't cook beyond the 12 minutes. The cookies are a "hard" cookie even when I thought I took them out "too soon" so that they would be softer. Used Health candy bar pieces and did substitute margarine for butter. Very good cookie!
