This marinade needs a cup of dry wine .... The steake come out "+10"

Keri, this was terrific! You were right regarding the garlic...don't be afraid of it! My husband and I had a delicious dinner last night after I had marinated the steaks for about 2 hours. My hubby uses a simlar recipe for steaks on the grill, but adds honey to the recipe. Thanx a bunch for this one; we enjoyed it immensely!

At first the smell caught me off guard but when I pan fryed one of my steaks in butter it was great!

This is a wonderful marinade. I used it for a 2 lb. top round london broil and marinated for an hour, then grilled. The flavor was so great and it turned out so tender I couldn't believe it (and I don't even like steak!). None of the ingredients are overpowering, they just blend together for a fabulous flavor. The whole family enjoyed this...thanks for sharing!

Very nice. Marinated about two hours and it wasn't too garlicky at all. Will make again and will add the red wine suggested by another reviewer. Thanks for posting.

I used this Marinade for our 4th of July bbq yesterday. I chose it because it was simple and I had all the ingredients on hand. I let the steaks marinade over night and grilled them until they were medium rare. They turned out tender, juicy and delicious. Comments like. 'steakhouse quality' were thrown around. The garlic was just right and the flavor of the steak wasn't overshadowed by the Marinade. A great and simple Marinade that I will use again. Thanks.

Very good-just what I was looking for. I like to enhance the taste of the steak , not cover it up. This fit the bill exactly-no weird spices or ingredients. Simple and very good on the thick t-bones I had. Will use this one often on good cuts of steak. One thing I absolutely had to add is a generous amount of fresh ground black pepper-( Peppercorn Melange) . That is a must for our steaks. Thanks ! We did still use A-1 at the table though-have to have it-lol!

this is awesome. I have made it many many times and my whole family loves it..very quick and I always have everything on hand Update 12/6/07 I have tried many other marinades on this site and this one is STILL the best!
