Wow! What can I say? I'm not a big fan of onions, but these are delicious. I guess I filled mine too much because it only filled 4 burrito-size tortillas. That's ok.. because these are terrific! They bake up so beautifully golden brown. Thanks for the great idea. A keeper for sure. I'll be sure to double the recipe next time. UPDATE: Please be sure to bake them long enough so that the onions caramelize and get a crusty golden brown color on each side. They taste much better that way.

These were great and had so much flavor. I used vidalia onions and instead of swiss, no one in the family likes it, I used colby- jack mixed. I will definitely make these again, besides the great flavor, they are so easy to make.

I am rating this recipe again because the first time I forgot to put the stars on it ( and it deserves AT Least 5 stars)! I made this, along with other appetizers for Christmas Day. My DH and SIL are huge onion fans which is why I decided to try them. They were delicious! I was debating whether to make the whole recipe or halve it because of all the other food we were having but I figured I could always warm up any leftover later. There were none left! Thank you leilani for a great appetizer recipe! They were so easy to make. BTW-my sil asked me for the recipe-several times-until I finally got it to her.

Thanks, Leilani. This was delicious and so easy. I needed a quick appetizer to take to a meeting and this fit the bill, allowing me to build on it by adding my "flavor" to it. I sauteed garlic with the onions and added chopped sun dried tomatoes. A pinch of cayenne and a bit of chili powder provided the spice I was looking for. I was low on swiss cheese and supplemented it with some leftover shredded gouda...it was so good. Next time I'll double the recipe. This is like a mini quiche without the egg. You rock!!

I have made these for 4 different occasions since finding it here about a month ago. I have also given the recipe out to 3 people who have tried them. These are great tasting little appetizers that are easy to make. Not only can you make them in advance (I froze some) but they also re-heat very well!!! Thanks!

5 star all the way - my friends raved over them and took away the recipe as well. I sprinkled a little hot paprika on them before rolling and served them with home made chutney. I am testing one for freezing& will add to this review when I bake it. This is a definite do again and again Thanks for posting leilani

these were really pretty good. And very easy. I loved the fact that most of the work was done the day before, and that it was only 5 ingredients. I actually BROWNED the onions, instead of just cooking them until "limp" because that's the way we like onions, especially with Swiss cheese. Great recipe, thanks!

These are easy to make and quite good. I do think they need a little bit of something extra though, as I felt they were a little bland. I did add some paprika, but there was still soemthing missing. Next time I'll try maybe adding a bit of garlic or stirring some hot sauce into the mix before spreading it onto the tortillas. Thanks for sharing.

I was disappointed in these especially with all the rave reviews. They went together easily and I even added some cayenne as one reviewer suggested and they were REALLY bland. I think if I make them again I will try adding some Cheddar cheese as other reviewers did. They do however look absolutely lovely coming out of the oven!
