Outstanding, as stated. I doubled it and it made three large loaves. In my opinion, I thought the cloves overpowered some of the other spices. I left out cloves in my second batch, and thought it was the best zucchini bread I ever ate!

This was a wonderful recipe! I reduced by half the amount of sugar, and added chopped-up apples to the loaf- in a word, fantastic!

This is a really good and easy recipe! Delicious fresh from the oven, and still moist and yummy the next morning (can't say beyond that, because I just made them last night). I followed the recipe exactly as stated and made 24 muffins. I will definitely make this again. Yummy! Thanks!

I didn't have all the spices, so I just used cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice...it is DELICIOUS! I also added chocolate chips.
Really moist and yummy, and the whole wheat flour does not make it too dense.

This recipe really deserves the word "fabulous" in the title! I loved it! I just bought a sun oven (set it up outside and let the sun do the cooking so my house stays cool) and this was the first recipe I tried. Turned out great!! (I didn't have any applesauce so I used Lighter Bake, a fruit sauce designed to replace fat in recipes.) I also didn't have allspice, so I skipped that too. I'm filing this recipe so I can make it again and again.

Wonderful flavors from the great combination of spices and we loved the applesauce instead of tons of oil! I made one regular sized loaf and 12 large muffins instead of mini loaves. Thanks for sharing Tonkcats! **This was saved in my Tope 2008 Recipes Cookbook

OMG this recipe is beyond fantastic...My daughter followed the recipe as is except that she used between 2 and 3 cups of grated zucchini. She made it for her boyfriend, godson and cousins and all who tried it LOVED it, even the 6 year old!!! In fact, we've decided to make mini muffins and serve them as finger food apps at Thanksgiving.

Excellent. I fiddled with the spices (mostly just cut back on the cloves). I didn't have apple sauce, so added apple juice and chopped dried apples and raisins. I would definitely make again, but as said Chris Reynolds, it is very spicy--Christmasy to me--so I might fiddle even further to make it seem more summery!!!

Very flavorful and yummy! I followed the recipe exactly and it was fabulous. Next time, I will use more whole wheat flour and less white and a little less sugar--just for health reasons, but otherwise LOVED IT!

This was also my first time making zucchini bread (We have been really lucky in the garden this summer!) so I was looking for a winner, this is it! I made one loaf and 24 mini muffins with the recipe. My kids absolutely couldn't have enough of them! Me too! Thank You!
