Charishma, if you have not tried this yet you should! I have made this twice, the first time we had it as a dessert, I used a bit more figs so it was thicker. Today as a shake, both times I did leave out the sugar, and for my taste it was sweet enough. Also halved the recipe both times and it gave more then two generous servings. Did have some trouble finding the rose essence, finally did in an Asian supermarket. Was made in seconds using my hand blender.

A really diffrent and romantic drink. I have made it twice so far, both times in the blender using fresh figs, both times scaling it down to make two servings. the 1st time I made it with rose water the 2nd time with rose essence. I have to admit the batch with the essence was so much better. It would have been a 5* recipe only if it didnt turn abit bitter half way through drinking it.
