I love this recipe...it is absolutely so easy to put together! Yesterday I made a cheese scone to go with stew for supper..I omitted the sugar, added 4 oz grated cheddar and 1 tsp cardamom. They were great. I had to try something sweet today, so I had 3 nectarines in the fridge, peeled & diced them and used the recipe (added the sugar) and added the fruit, 1 tsp banana extract and sprinkled sugar on the top...they are FABULOUS!!! Thanks for this...it will be a go-to for me!!

Kellie, This was exactly what I was looking for. I made these with 1 tsp of dried orange zest and topped with an icing made from lemon juice and powdered sugar (thick). Everyone loved them. Just a note to others. The dough was sticky and hard to cut after pressing it out. So, when they were done, I used a pizza cutter and recut on the lines and they came out great. Just wanted to let everyone know if they had the same problem, not to worry. Thanks again!!
