Very chocolatey! After blending everything together, I took a taste test and determined it needed more sweetness so doubled the banana as recommended by Annacia. It still could use some more sweetness so I may add some sweetener. Sustagen is not sold in the US...I wonder if it contains sweetener? And if it contains other nutrients, it may have less cocoa by volume. I used Hershey's pure cocoa powder. Thanks for posting the recipe. It is a nice, healthy, very chocolately smoothie!

Yum, I used a very ripe banana & ovaltine for the chocolate but not quite the full amount. Toddler DD & I both devoured it! Thanks Pat!

Wow...this is really good Pat. I really wondered how this was going to taste since I've never made a shake using cocoa powder. It's really more slushy than creamy, but that's o.k. with me. Less calories I also should add that I put in one packet of Splenda to sweeten a bit. Purely my preference. Made for HolidayTag.~

Very chocolatey! I used almond milk and halved the recipe, using a small banana. Thanks for a frosty treat! Made for Photo tag.

Mmmmmmmm. I made a single serving and used 1/4 cup of cocoa with a whole banana. After blending and tasting I added some Splenda, I didn't measure but just shook some in from the container that lives on the counter. This is very tasty and quite filling.....in fact, I think I just had dinner! :D

DeliciousQ I used Milo instead and this still was fantastic. I just used a belnder and blended all together before adding the ice cubes, added them and then gave another quick wizz and all all came out so well! Thanks Pat, this was a great, delcious quick and easy drink!
