My mother used to make this cobbler. It's my favorite recipe for using fresh peaches (and I have made it with frozen). I'm glad to see it posted. It takes a little more work than some cobbler recipes, but it's well worth the time.

This is a great recipe! I added a pinch of allspice and 1Tblp. of lemon juice.

Looks like Mama's recipe. I have to try it. We have a new produce market on the way into town. Very near me. I purchased some S Carolina peaches there this afternoon. They are so sweet and delicious. Not being disloyal to GA my state. But those are great peaches. I will get some more and make your Mom' s cobbler. N GA cook
