This is so thick, rich and delicious. I didn't change a thing and used your recipes ingredients as listed. The ginger comes thru nicely as mine was the candied variety. What a great afternoon pick-me-up

This made a perfect post-swimming treat for a hot afternoon! DS (18 m) gobbled it up, and I think I might make more to freeze as popsicles! I, too, found the ginger flavor to be more prevalent than the green tea, but no matter since we love ginger around here! I just used bottled minced ginger. I also skipped the honey, as the fruit is sweet enough for us. Thanks for a keeper...I agree with CoffeeB that this is a great afternoon refresher. Made for Summer Comfort Cafe.

Oh, WOW! I love ginger, and had some very fine crystalized ginger pieces from my last preparation, and used the very last of it that was left after making mikekey's Ginger Baked Apples. So, therefore, didn't have to use any further sweetening. A wonderful smoothie for my last day of Comfort Cafe Summer 2009! Thnx so much for posting, BakinBaby.

Very thick and rich indeed! I had to "drink" it with a spoon
I like my smoothies really thick so that was great for me. I also found the ginger to be the prominent flavor, which I enjoyed, but this is not for someone who is unsure about liking ginger. For the green tea, I brewed Gunpowder Green Temple of Heaven type of green tea, which was strong enough to add some flavor through the rich ginger & berries - I recommend this variety of green tea here. I substituted 1/4 cup more blueberries & 1/4 cup more sliced strawberries for the 1/2 c cranberries as I couldn't find any. Thanks for posting! [Made & Reviewed for Everyday is a Holiday Tag]
