This receipe makes shortbread cookies that are basically butter held together with flour. I was disappointed with the lack of lavender or lemon flavor due to the heavy butter flavor. I feel like I wasted a lot of time and effort grating and chopping. Also, they took much longer than 12 minutes to bake; I would go for atleast 30 minutes at this temperature.
