We love mackerel after being introduced to it in Cape Breton (we actually went jigging for it). Anyway, this is a great way to cook it but had to cut back on the jalapenos - we like heat but not too much. We also eat a lot of it in Portugal in the winter and there it is always barbecued, but they sure know how to do it. If anyone in recipe land likes this fish this is certainly a new twist.
