This makes a fantastic sandwich bread. Great with tuna salad. It holds together better than most homemade breads - and it uses that starter that we all get too much of!

This is a very nice bread! Easy to put together and uses up some Amish starter. I first was attracted to this because of the use of the starter, I then saw that it was made in the bread machine! Oh Happy Days!! This is not a sweet bread, as in coffee cake type, but a delicious white bread that has body. This tastes great, it made a delicious grilled tuna sandwich
I imagine that it would make excellent french toast or stuffing, oh the uses! Thank you JanuaryBride for posting this most excellent recipe! One I will use again in about 8 more days
