This was great. I can't stop drinking it! I made a double batch. right amount of spice and the brown sugar added just enough sweetness. Change nothing!

This cider was a real crowd-pleaser at my Halloween party. I added a bit less sugar than the recipe called for, but it probably would have been fine regardless. Good amount of spices - interesting but not overwhelming.

A Perfect Fall treat! I made this with my girl's club cooking class and I thought it was delicious. It was the right amount of spice too. Some girls prefered plain apple juice but all the adults liked it

Really, really good! Had a pretty strong clove taste so next time I will probably go lighter on them but it was excellent and very enjoyed. Thanks!

I was having four generations for Christmas dinner and was looking for something that I could prepare ahead and all would like. I cooked it up and put it in the crockpot on low so people could just serve themselves. It was a big hit with everyone from the 2 year old to the 87 year old matriarch. I think the new 2 week old was the only one who didn't have some.

This is exactly the taste I think of when I think of hot apple cider. My dad used to sell pre-packaged "mulling spice" in his roadside stand, and would always have cider that we pressed in the fall in a big coffee brewer for customers to sample. This tastes just how I remember it tasting as a kid. Of course the only difference is that the cider I have access to now isn't quite as fresh ;o) I made this for a large group, and used 2 gallons of cider. I only did 3x the rest of the ingredients though, and it was sufficiently spiced after the 20 minute simmer. Definitely don't omit the orange wedges - they balance out the flavor perfectly!
