Reviewed during ZWT5 Australian visit for Team Chow Hounds THis was a great modern version of the good-old ANZAC biscuit. THe macadamias were a nice addition. Actually..... the macadamias smelt so good while they were toasting in the pan...they were lucky to make it into the mix ! As I am gluten-free and couldn't source contaminatin free oats... I cant taste these bickies. My family are all giving you 5 stars though Photo also being posted.

    Delicious sweet little morsels! I baked at 320 degrees Farenheit. I subbed in 2 teaspoons of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of water for the golden sryup and do not think that was best choice I could have made as the mixture would not stick together so I ended up adding an egg. Instead I should have subbed in honey. Thanks UmmBinat for sharing a variation of a classic. Made for Chow Hounds during ZWT5 visit to Australia.
