This is a good smoothie that isn't too sweet and more on the buttermilk tasting side. I used 1/2 cup skim milk in place of the rice milk and also the caramel icecream topping was SF. i omitted the dates, but did add 4 ice cubes to thicken. A sprinkling of my cinnamon/flax/brownsugar blend was really all I needed, but if you're looking for a sweeter smoothie, then I'd add a packet of Splenda or something for sweetner. Maybe the dates would have added that?? Thanks for a great afternoon treat! Made for HolidayTag.

I was unable to find rice milk for this recipe so I used soy vanilla flavored milk. I also didn't use the optional dates, but I thought it was very good. Made for Veg N swap tag #15.
