I highly recommend this granola for flavor, texture, and so easy to make! I was out of sesame seeds, so I added a little extra sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Also, my health food store (Whole Foods) doesn't carry rye flakes, so I used wheat germ. Otherwise, made as directed, and this is delicious! Thanks, I'm Pat! Made for Aussie New Zealand recipe swap.

Very good granola! I also couldn't get rye flakes.. I did find a health store that sells them, but they were out of stock, so I used Special K.... I had it in the pantry! And I used a Hawaaiin mix for the dry fruit mix, that also had some coconut flakes, nuts and raisins, but DH likes all those things. I did bake it longer than 20 minutes, probably closer to 40, just kept an eye on it and kept turning the mix so that it would toast evenly. Smelled wonderful, even the youngsters came to snitch a handful and they generally don't like granola! Have stored it in an air-tight container for DHs breakfasts! Thank you, Pat!

WOW was this good! I made it as directed, however I subbed wheat bran for the rye flakes and I subbed flax seed for the sesame seed. I also threw in a handful of walnuts (excellent addition) and a sprinkle or two of cinnamon (I can't have granola without my cinnamon). For my dried fruit I chose dried blueberries and dried apricots (chopped). So good! Mine was a tad overdone at 20 minutes, so next time I will turn the oven down to 300 and see how that works. This is truly excellent granola. . .thanks Pat. . .make for MAKE MY RECIPE.

Yum, this makes a lovely granola. I used some stale special K in lieu of rye flakes and the last of my butterscotch honey which worked a treat. A hit with both toddler DD and me. Thanks Pat!

Perfect! Love the sesame seed in this! Easy too. I used Rice Krispie cereal instead of rye flake. Thanks I'mPat for sharing.
