This is such a good idea! I had 5 large chops, so I needed to use two pans. I wanted to use this as an experiment. I put melted butter in the bottom of one, and olive oil in the bottom of the other. Althought both tasted amazing, when I went to turn the chops half way through in the buttered dish, 1/2 of the coating came off. When I went to turn the olive oil dish, ALL the coating stayed on perfectly! From now on I will only use olive oil. I used Cornbread stove top flavor and usually my DH is very good at identifying what I've made but this time he was stumped at what the coating was! Once I told him Stove Top he was pleasantly surprised! I cooked mine for 45 minutes and they were perfect. Served with garlic broccoli.

5 stars for how QUICK and easy this is to put together and how tender/moist & crunchy the chops turn out. I usually reserve a 5-star rating for something absolutely out of this world, but this one deserves it as the PERFECT weeknight meal. I prep'd the chops & threw them in the oven in about 5 minutes' time, then was able to kick my feet up & enjoy a leisurely glass of wine before making a salad & instant mash potatoes. The chops were tender and the juiciest I've ever had, plus the coating turns crispy during baking. AHHHH! I used the thick (1.5") Costco boneless chops & after 40 min, they were a tad pink inside, so microwaved them for another minute and they were perfection. This will probably become our standard, Thank-God-Monday's-over meal. Super recipe!

The only thing I would change in this recipe is to omit salting the pork chops before coating with stove top mix. I think there is plenty of salt in prepared foods. Overall, it is a good recipe - the chops were done in 40 minutes, as directed and they were very tender and moist.

my family calls this crunchy pork or chicken. i make mine slightly different. I also use the stuffing mix from a canister so that the leftover crumb mix can be stored easily for quick use. I mix between one and two cups of parmesan cheese with the stuffing mix. (I also put the stuffing in a blender to make a coarse crumb mix, it seems to coat the meat easier this way)I dip the pork or chicken in butter, then coat in the stuffing mix and then bake (pour any leftover butter on top). that way no eggs or flour is necessary.

Just a note: This recipe works equally as well with chicken breast. Adjust the cooking time as chicken breast don't need to cook as long as pork chops.

Pork chops don't like me. I've never found a quick method to prepare them without them turning out tough and dry. These, however, turned out good, DH's comment was, "excellent!" I crushed the stuffing in storage bag with my rolling pin a little bit like another review said, otherwise made as directed. They turned out moist on the inside, crunchy on the outside. I served them with green beans and fresh buttered french bread. Very quick and easy. I'm thinking I might try mustard or mayo coating instead of egg next time. Not that there's anything wrong with egg, maybe just to zip it up even more. Would that work? Anyway, I'll use this recipe again. Thanks for posting!!

These were great. Or at least the chicken I made it with was so I am sure that the porkchops were wonderful. I was so happy with how quickly it came together and how the stuffing mix got crunchy. Thank you so very much for this terrific weeknight (or anytime) meal. I will make this again and again.

My husband is very picky about his pork chops, and I didn't think he would go for this, but he LOVED them. The Stove Top makes a great crunchy coating. The best part about it all, is it's quick and easy! I would highly recommend!
