Great tasting easy stew! I used chicken thighs with skin although I throw out the skin, but it provides more chicken flavor to the brew. I also used a mixture of wild and brown rice. Made for Spring 2009 Potluck tag.

What an easy tasty dish when the brain is frazzled and won't let you think of what to make for dinner LOL I had leftover turkey in the fridge and had alot going on and could not for the life of me think of what to do with the leftovers . WAM saw this recipe in Everyday is a Holiday tag and the lightbulb went off. Quick to put together especially since the turkey was done. I thought I had wild rice so had to sub a wild rice/ white rice mix. I used turkey broth I had in the freezer. I had to add more broth then called for but I think it was from using the white rice. At first as it was cooking I thought maybe there was to much garlic but it mellowed wonderfully as it cooked. Because the turkey was already cooked it took maybe 3 hours in the crockpot.
