It's so easy to do. I did half the recipe. And I mix the ingredients in a large bowl, then poured in a 2 L bottle of Coke with a funnel. This smells great and is inexpensive. Thanks barefootmomma. Made for 123 hit wonders

You are awesome! My DH is allergic to commercial fabric softeners, and I'm sick to death of sandpaper towels. This did it--fast, easy, cheap, and effective. What more can you want?

Thank you for posting a great recipe for fabric softener. I made this today and used it today as well. The only thing is I wish it had a nice fragrence to it but it didn't. Maybe it was the conditioner that I used. Thanks again, this is definately a keeper. Will be making again and again as it is the only softener I will be using.

Thank You so much for posting this, my other half is allergic to fabric softeners, & this is a safer alternative to Chemicals, and so much cheaper! It's a win win! Thanks Again!

Awsome! Clothes come out soft and fresh smelling. Best part is you can make you clothes smell however you want just by changing the conditioner. Thank you for posting such a great recipe, I will never buy fabric softener again.

I liked the idea of homemade softener but I still had a lot of static in my clothes. Perhaps my load of laundry was too large. I used the liquid dispenser in my wash machine. I think I will give the spray bottle/wash cloth method a try as well. I did however like how fresh the clothes smelled. Thanks for sharing. Made for Spring PAC 2009
