This was SO wonderful!! I took it to a pool party yesterday and everyone there was copying the recipe. I used only red grapes, because the green ones at the grocery were sour. I also mixed the chopped pecans and brown sugar, put them on a sheet of "quick release" aluminum foil, and put into a hot oven just until the sugar started to melt. (about 7-8 minutes, stirred twice) I love caramelized nuts, but am not fond of ones that haven't been roasted. I let them cool and crumbled them on top of the grape mixture. It was very easy and quick to put together and can be used as an appetizer, salad, OR dessert. I'm making it again tonight for us to have here at home. Thanks for one of my new favorites.

I received this same recipe from another source and have made it several times. It is easy, very delicious and a big hit every where I have served it.

This is a phenomenal recipe. I made it the first time as described, but feel that I will take away 1/4 cup of brown sugar and nuts. The topping seemed to overpower the grape portion. Roasting the nuts, along with the brown sugar, really makes the flavors sing! I would mix the cream cheese and granulated sugar first until creamy, and then add the sour cream. It will make it smoother. Also, make sure you dry your grapes thoroughly before putting them into the salad. This recipes was served to two separate clients this week, and they have reserved this dish for the next prepared meal I make for them. An excellent, yet simple recipe. Thanks so much.

Made it, loved it. I did cut the grapes in halved though, just wanted to. I did find that I would have been better off with a larger rim bowl, I had a lot of the topping on a small portion, because my bowl was deep, next time will change to shallow bowl, larger around. Thanx for posting.

This is very good. It is easy to make and keeps well in the frige. The only thing I would change is to cut the grapes in half.

This salad was just delicious.Refreshingly juicy grapes under a blanket of sweetened vanilla cream cheese, it couldn't get any better, but it does!!! - to top it all off, finely chopped pecans mixed with brown sugar, so delicious! My husband and I doubled the vanilla, as we are devout vanilla lovers. Though I have always loved grapes, how am I to eat plain grapes again without lamenting that I could be having this grape salad?!

I got this same recipe from my Mom a few years ago. It is so good. She made it for Thanksgiving and I liked it so much I asked her to make it again for Christmas. This is a MUST TRY recipe. You can't imagine how good it is until you try it.

Very tasty. I used the feature to cut the recipe down from 15 servings to 4 and it tasted great. If you're looking for a salad similar to this one but with different fruits see the "Fruit Dream" recipe. It is another winner also.
