This bread was delicious with our dinner last night!! I used a small loaf of french bread (12 thick slices) and followed the herb butter except that I also added in some garlic salt to make sure the garlic flavor was on all slices. This bread was devoured by my whole family!!! Will definitely be making this bread again!! Thanks Gailanng for sharing this recipe. Made for Everyday is a Holiday Tag.

We really enjoyed this. The fresh herb flavours really stood out. My bf found the garlic a bit strong but I thought it was perfect. I'll never buy store-bought garlic bread again! Thanks for a great recipe!

I am always looking for something new to do with bread beyond the traditional garlic bread spread. I liked the addition of sage; it added a different dimension to the flavor! However, when I make this again, I will add some salt to the mix as I use unsalted butter and it seemed like it was lacking a little bit of saltiness. Thanks for sharing; made for Every Day is Holiday.

Wonderful bread, loved the flavours, did have to use dried parsley though (1 teaspoon) and I like to cut my bread all the way through, butter both sides and re-assemble. Thank you gailanng for a great recipe, made for Edition 8 Make My Recipe.

I used Tillamook butter and fresh herbs from our garden: triple curled parsley and tri-colored sage. The butter mixture was spread on French country boule bread, placed on a grill pan and baked for about 15 minutes at 300ยบ. Really delicious! Making this again soon! Reviewed for ZWT 2009. Thank you!
