I made this for dinner tonight with some minor changes. I was looking for a reciepe to use up ground turkey that I've had in the freezer for awhile. I really don't care for ground turkey unless it has a sauce, so this is what I tried. I sauted a lot more mushrooms, carrots, onions, celery, and green peppers. The only problem that I had was that I should have put the spaghetti on the bottom, then turkey, vegetables, and so on. Cuz some of the spaghetti was sticking up above the casserole so some of the tips were hard. For some reason I thought the dish would bubble and cook all of it. Other than that it was very good. I left our paprika, but added parmasean cheese and chives on top of jack cheese. My husband kept saying, "This is awsome." He wants me to try it with left over shredded turkey. Which would be hard for me since I refuse to cook a bird. But I would consider making it with regular ground hamburger or shredded chicken. Thanks for the great reciepe.

I made this for my company last night for the first time and it was delicious! I doubled it using canned mushrooms instead of fresh. Instead of using two cans of soup though, I substituted one can for a cup of fat-free sour cream (to keep sodium level down). I used chicken breasts instead of turkey. It was yummy! Thanks for sharing.

Great recipe! Very easy to find ingredients for and prepare. The flavor is different than the usual turkey noodle casseroles due to the carrots. It is a good different. I used whole wheat spaghetti and chicken rather than turkey. Delicious.

Excellent. I cheated a bit...I used about 3.5 cups of leftover cooked macaroni noodles. I am also guilty of throwing in some Spike unsalted seasoning and a can of green beans to make it a meal. Broke it up into two servings so that I could cook one today and freeze one for later. Made for MAKE MY RECIPE.

This is a tasty casserole and it is very simple with the cooked turkey. I used cream of mushroom soup with garlic and it added some wonderful flavor. Thanks for sharing!

Very good and unbelievably quick to put together. It would be great with leftover chicken and my son suggested shrimp. Another thing I liked about this recipe is that it uses simple ingredients that I always have in my pantry and fridge.

I gave this a four star because I thought it was ok, but my husband loved it. I did twick it here and there. I didn't have a raw carrot so after my onion, celery (and green pepper) was cooked I added a can of carrots. I also added garlic. I used chicken instead of turkey and to speed things up I used cooked spaghetti. I thought my husband was going to eat the whole thing.

Very tasty and certainly a great way to use up leftovers although, on this occasion, I cooked up some turkey breasts using MsSally's Super Easy Crock Pot Turkey Breast for use in this and another turkey recipe, both of which I was planning to make in large quantities for the freezer. I doubled this recipe, but it was still quite quick to prepare. Except for using many more mushrooms (probably about three cups: I didn't measure them), I made this exactly to the recipe. We thoroughly enjoyed the serving we ate and are delighted that we have a healthy stockpile of future meals in the freezer. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe, Jess. All the ingredients went so well together. Delicious! It will certainly be one of my regular recipes when preparing meals ahead. Made for PRMR.
