These burgers are the bomb!! The spices are just smashing. I used fresh pineapple slices and grilled the buns. Thanks for an easy fab burger recipe. It is always nice to try different things.

My family is getting used to me experimenting with new and to them, unusual recipes. This one got a rave reaction from them and they were sure they weren't going to like it. Love it when I can prove them wrong. The burger patties were very juicy and the flavor was remarkable. I didn't think the spices would be that detectable but they were. Not overpowering though. I used fresh pineapple. Thanks Nurse Di, for another yummy recipe.

We made these burgers last weekend thinking that they would be good to serve on the 4th of July. We gave them a trial run and my husband and I thought they were delicious. The only change I made was to use 1 teaspoon of fresh grated ginger. We also used fresh pineapple. Very tropical tasting and the spices were not too heavy. We will be making them again today for our grill-fest. Thanks Nurse Di.

these burgers were wonderfully juicy and tasty. the spices were perfect and all my guys had seconds. next time, i'll get a fresh pineapple which can only be more delicious. the nicest thing is that my DH actually followed the recipe and made dinner for us. (he hates it when i leave him recipes, but he's learning like the rest of us that we always like your recipes!) thanks!

Very tasty & unique!! I took all the food for our Father's Day celebration & forgot to take my soy sauce so had to do without. They do have a wonderful sweet flavour that wasn't enjoyed by everyone. But, most of us loved this moist burger. The grilled pineapple was a great topping idea, too!

These are really good - I did them on the grill with fresh pineapple. I beg mango chutney would be awesome with them. I used a fresh, extra sweet pineapple and it was just wonderful.

These burgers were very unique! I made them exactly per the recipe, and used whole wheat buns. My husband and I both put mayonnaise on our buns and liked them, and my 4 year-old was very excited about the fact that they were sweet! Thanks for the recipe!

Very good NurseDi served ours with Swiss Cheese, our DS's had ketchup and mustard plus swiss on theirs, ketchup 'n mustard didn't seem very kosher to me but they inhaled it rather than chew so THUMBS UP!

I loved these. My husband would likely only give 4 stars (like most red-blooded males, he doesn't like his meat tampered with!). I used the stated amount of honey and spices with only 1 lb of meat for a more pronounced flavour. As I didn't have any pineapple rings in the house, I took Ducky's advice and made a relish of crushed pineapple (by adding some honey, soy sauce and ginger), which was excellent.
