This was a great change from ordinary baked fries. I used 1 tsp of chicken broth instead of oil to make the paste and added a bit more hot sauce because we like the kick. My husband already is talking about next time! Thank you.

With all these fantastic reviews I guess you don't really need another one, but here it is anyways! These were 'tremendous' (quote BF). I mixed the paste directly in the bag so no cleaning up at all afterwards! I was surprised how nice and crispy they got even with the small amount of oil. I used parchment paper instead of aluminium foil so I didn't need to use any oil at all to bake them apart from the bit that's already in the paste! This is defenitely one to keep!

This is a potato dish that we eat about once a week or so, but I have always used a commercial Cajun spice mix. This mix of spices was much nicer than any I have bought here in Australia though. It was an easy recipe, and we had all the ingredients on hand.

Muy Bien!! These fries were grate. I doubled the recipe and the fries turned out great. I placed the spices as suggested in a plastic bag and took small handfuls and worked through the spice paste. They weren't to spicy and went well with our Mexican Burgers #897 and fresh green beans. We topped the burgers with cheese, salsa and sour cream. Let the salsa and sour cream warm up to room temperature so that it blends well with the warm hamburgers.

This is a excellent recipe for oven baked fries! I added minced garlic to the paste as we love the stuff. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. Katherine

Great Flavor they disappeared quickly, doubled the cayenne - just right. made a half recipe but will keep the spice mix at full recipe size next time I make these.- when I look at your photo and mine I can tell you had more spice mix on your fries. I baked them on a pizza stone with no oil whatever came out nice & crispy brown Thanks again Sue for another great recipe

This is a fantastic chips recipe. The combination of herbs and spices smelled wonderfully exotic even though they are all kitchen cupboard staples.

A great recipe, and so easy to make. Tastes so much nicer than the commerial variety. I made a "large" batch of the dry ingredients, added oil and sauce to the potatoes I had made, and popped the rest of the dry ingredients in a container into the freezer for next time. Found I hand to increase the oil to get a even texture on all the potatoes.
