Great recipe for some delicious ribs! I don't know what the Applebee riblets taste like and it didn't matter! I found several different definitions for "riblets" and chose sweet and sour cut ribs. I used 1.5 kg of ribs (3 pounds) but the yummy sauce would have gone far enough to cover 10 pounds easily! Made for Spring 2009 PAC. Thanks!

Mother-in-Law said "I think these are the best ribs I've ever had." That's enough right there to recommend! They came out fantastic! I really do recommend slow cooking for the full 5 hours. The meat literally fell off the bones and the sauce has a lot of different sweetnesses (Molasses, Honey, Corn Syrup). It made our mothers day get together a hit. Highly recommend. You could half- the sauce and still have enough to coat 3 full baby back rib racks.

I'm just rating the sauce on this recipe. Was looking for a sauce for a Rib Cookoff and this is perfect. The only thing I added was a teaspoon of liquid smoke to the sauce. Great sauce.
