Just fabulous! I made 12 muffins and 12 mini muffins from this mix. Of course I probably used twice the amount of jam too! I used apricot jam and on 3 of the mini muffins I tried some nutella as well which was nice. These are really pretty. I can't wait to try it with different jams! I added a bit of applesauce and an extra splash of milk to the mixture too as I found it needed a bit more moisture while mixing.

A really nice change for a banana muffin. I used raspberry jam in the center and the tartness of the jam and the sweetness of the muffin made them yummy! I'm going to try an extra banana next time to kick up the banana favor just a touch.

Really good. Almost like a banana cake taste. I used apricot jam as a filler and it went very well with the banana flavour. Moist and easy to do. I have some frozen in the freezer but I doubt they'll stay there long. Thanks Carrie Ann

Oh my goodness! These are absolutely wonderful! I did not have to change a thing!Perfect Perfect Perfect. I only had grape jelly on hand and I dont think that its the best match for these but it came to mind that Pineapple preserves might make a good combo with the banana. Please try these muffins you won't be sorry. They will be a regular item on our "menu" from now on.......PeggyLynn

I needed a quick but unique recipe for banana muffins and this was it! I made a batch to take for a function, let my girls try one to make sure they were alright...and ended up having to make another batch to keep at home. :o) Very moist and they loved the extra flavor of the jelly. Filing this one away for kids' parties, too! I have a feeling this is going to be one of the new staples around here. Thanks to you and your mom!

I concur with everyone else who said these are really good! I used walnut oil, just shy of 2 cups banana, and egg whites instead of whole eggs. For a lark, I put a tsp of the preserves (apricot) inside rather than on top for a little juicy surprise. Great flavors, easy recipe. Thanks Carrie Ann.

Had a couple of "very" ripe bananas and found this recipe. I used my homemade blackberry jam. WOW, these are really good. Thanks for a great new muffin recipe.

This is a great recipe. It's very easy to make (my kids love to help) and the muffins turn out perfect every time. I also love that there's no need to get the beaters out.
I used two large bananas I had in the freezer and all-fruit instead of jam. The thought had crossed my devious mind to try a little Nutella instead.
Thanks so much for posting this one! It's going to become a staple recipe in my collection.

Sorry these didn't work out for me-the jam bubbled up and overflowed & got stuck on the bottom, too! I used strawberry preserves instead of jam; maybe that made a difference. Thanks anyway!
