These really are quite good and very versatile. I made them with blueberries and peaches and they are just bursting with fruit. I like that the fruit is what stands out and not the batter. On saying that..the only thing that makes these 4 stars instead of 5 is that the batter needs a little bit of kick. I added a splash of vanilla and a dash of cinnamon in mine, but I think they could have done with a little bit more. Nothing a little tweaking (because each variation would be different) won't perfect. Just wanted to let others know not to be shy with adding in what you think would taste good because I think it would be hard to ruin these babies. Thanks for a great and easy recipe.

Those were great! Used brown sugar instead of white, a bit less oil and added about 3 tbs of orange marmelade. Thanks!!

This recipe was great, better than any recipe that I have previously used! :-D...Very manageable and easy to make it your own!! The only problem was I found 25 minutes was way too long, next time I would reduce it to 20 minutes. Thank you for the great recipe!
I made this recipe again twice, This time I doubled the recipe (I mean multiply every ingrident by 2 lol), and made large muffins in regular 12 muffin pan, of course they were overfilled, but they turned out amazing jumbo muffins! I baked them for 30-32 minutes instead of the 25 as for regular batch of muffins. I also added 4 mashed bananas in the end after all the ingredients have been mixed
AMAZING!

The kids loved making these, we used 1 Tbsp poppy seeds and a tsp of almond extract. They turned out great and disappeared quickly!

Great base recipe...I used chopped (dried) apricots that had been plumped in some Earl Grey tea (try it - it's great!) and we gobbled them up!!! Thanks meow!
