These brownies are AMAZING!! They were so moist and perfect, i got loads of compliments on them! I actually added a CHEESECAKE to them- 8 oz of cream cheese, 1 egg and 1/2 c sugar. I put it on top and swirled it in. +A!! Thanks!

Oh,,boy! Our new "favorite brownie" recipe!! It sounded so good I knew with the grandkids here I'd better make a double batch...glad I did! Followed the recipe exactly and my add in's were Reese's Peanut butter chips and mini-marshmellows. This is really soooooooo good, a chocoholic's dream!! I actually hid the pan so they wouldn't eat them all! I used a 9 x 13" pan for the double batch and it took about 5 min. longer to bake. Very moist and chewy. Thanks so much Karen,,this is a real keeper Kitty

I didn't want to share!!! I made these for my undergrads (I'm a TA) for their final exam and as a reward for trying so hard all semester. But, once I got them out of the oven, I didn't want to bring them to class! They are really, really easy and really, really good. I didn't even follow the directions and they turned out well- I just dumped all the first ingredients in one bowl and mixed until even. Then, I added my special mixture of chopped up Reeces cups, rollos, and M&Ms. They were great. Oh, and I doubled the recipe and had to bake in my 9 by 13 dish for 32 minutes. (I used tinfoil) Thanks for such a great recipe!

I doubled the recipe and baked 32 minutes, which produced a delicious, moist brownie. This gets 5+ stars because, although I have tried many brownie recipes that were as moist and tasted as good, they were crumbly and difficult to cut and transport. These 5+ star brownies stand out because they are so easy to cut, and were not crumbly, and were so easy to cut (I used a pizza cutter) and easy (less messy) to eat. This recipe producies brownies that are JUST what you want a brownie to be...very chocolately and extremely moist. Did I mention, easy, one-bowl preparation? Thanks for a wonderful brownie recipe, which surprised me. When I took them out of the oven, I thought they looked like they would be dry. To my surprise, they were perfect!

These were so yummy if not too yummy for my own good! Has a beautiful flaky crisp top on them with a moist chocolately inside! I've used nuts (all varieties) choc chips milk and white, mini m&ms and marshmallows. Although I don't think I will use marshmallows again as they rise to the top and bubble up and don't look too pretty(still taste nice though) Thanks for a great recipe. I will also be using this recipe to make brownie in a jar gifts for christmas!Looks very pretty in a jar with all those yummies on top!

I thought this was a great recipe! But, 1 - 2 cups of add-ins seemed like WAY too much. I put in 1 and 1/2 cups of peanut butter chips, and there was hardly enough brownie left to cover up the chips! Second try - added in fewer Andes Mint Baking Pieces, didn't measure, but was definitely less than a cup and they had much more brownie content. Those were a hit.

ADDITIONAL REVIEW: As this recipe is made weekly in our home and usually the same way because they are perfect in every way, I tried something a little different this last time. I was inspired by a brownie that my DD purchased at a local bakery. I added the usual milk chocolate chips, mini marshmallow. Before placing pan into the oven, I added sprinkled shredded coconut over the uncooked batter then poured on a can of Eagle Brand condensed milk. When baked they were like a delicious brownie with a macaroon on top... OMG, friends who DO NOT like chocolate LOVED these! ENJOY... I know we do. These brownies are the ultimate in every sense of the word. Ultimate chocolate craving fix, ultimate chewy and moist with a crisy top crust. I doubled the recipe and we added mini marshmallows and Reese peanut butter cups chopped up and OMG they were to die for... as a matter of fact they were calling my name all day and thankfully the family got to them before I did ! A definate keeper and staple in our home. A great recipe for a bake sale... super easy to make ! Thank you so much for this awesome recipe !

excellent brownies. I have to bring dessert for a party, so tried this out first. Best ones I've ever made and sooooo easy. I just sprayed the pan with Pam, let completely cool and they came right out without "fraying edges". I put just chopped nuts but next time I'll try chips. I think you must cool completely before cutting. I also baked these on bottom rack of oven for 40 min. Thank you Karen for another great recipe.

I had such fun making these brownies! I doubled the recipe, and used three cups (total) of everything I could lay my hands on! I had partial packets of chocolate chunks, Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate Chips, M&M's Minis, and raisins. I threw in all in, and the finished result was YUMMY! The brownies were rich and chocolatey. (Maybe the recipe should be called, "Everything But The Kitchen Sink" brownies!!!) The double recipe took 32 minutes to bake, and the whole family has given the recipe a hearty five stars! Thanks, Karen!
