Awesome - let them sit for one hour - had no celery salt so I added onion powder and used garlic salt - add a bit of lemon juice too

5 stars for being quick, super easy and delicious! Great when you want to add flavor to a steak and have little time. This is staying in my cookbook for sure....Thanks!

I added 2 tsp. garlic to the mix and used low sodium soy sauce and celery tops instead of the celery salt to control the sodium somewhat. I wasn't sure about only letting it sit 1 hr. so mine sat in the refrigerator for about 8 hrs. to give the marinade time to get into the steak. We really enjoyed it and will use again. Becky

Very simple yet a real change in flavour. I only let the steak marinate for about 1/2 an hour and it was still very tasty.

Very simple, and very tasty. I used 2 ribeyes, and let them sit for about 4 hours. We were both very pleased with this, they were very flavourful and tender. I will use this marinade again for sure.

This must be the best kept secret recipe on this website!! We rushed home, marinaded the steaks (1/2 hr?), got the propane tank refilled, and threw the NY strip steaks on the grill. It could not have been better if we paid $50 at a high priced restaurant. Thanks Chris. I will be checking out your other recipes. I can't imagine using another marinade for the rest of the summer. It was so easy!!

This is a great steak marinade. We let it sit for 36 hours because we were going camping. We grilled it on a charcoal grill and served with corn on the cob and mixed veggies. Thanks so much!
