This is an easy recipe all in one pan! I pounded the chicken breasts first so it cut the cooking time by about ten minutes, and I used about half the amount of olives. Very tasty meal which we had with plain basmati rice and green beans. Thanks for posting.

I was running out of ideas for dinner and thought this might be an interesting change. Since my husband and I love Greek food, it was worth a shot. I didn't have any olives in-house, but the recipe held its own without it. Great flavour and zip ... although the hubby was skeptical when he smelled cinnamon. Sheesh! But it got a thumbs-up from that picky eater, so that says something. :o)

This was very good!! After putting together and simmering for 10 minutes I finished it off in the oven! I also added oregano to the chicken breasts. YUMMY!! Thank you!

This is more because of my personal taste, but the cinnamon did not mix well with the dish. It was a very savory dish and I am obviously in the minority in a three-star rating. The only deviation I used was a stainless steel pan and I deglazed the chicken with a bit of white wine. Very nice.

Fine meal! I thought the olives made it but also love lemon in food. I had planned to make a salad that included Mediterranian feta cheese but just sprinkled it on top of the chicken. Good!

Excellent color and flavor to the finished dish. I never would have believed it, but the cinnamon and cayenne pepper is a superb combination! Thanks for the posting.

This was very nice! Like many here, I substituted tomato sauce for canned tomatoes. I used 3/4 can and added 1 fresh, chopped tomato, so the sauce probably turned out thicker than the original recipe. The cinnamon flavor was a bit more than I liked, but it was not too overpowering. The sauce was very thick and rich, so I found myself wanting something to go with it to tone it down. I think slicing the chicken over some pasta would be just perfect!

This recipe was really easy and very tasty. I don't like parsley or olives so I subbed oregano for parsley and a cup of frozen spinach for the olives. I also added a small can of tomato sauce to make it saucier. The aroma of the cinnamon while it was cooking was wonderful!

This was an easy recipe and used most ingredients already in my pantry! I subbed tomaote sauce for the canned tomatoes and got a nice thick sauce. The family loves it and wants to see it again down the road. I made a honey mustard fresh bread, orzo and green beans, a great combination.
