I've been enjoying this drink practically every night! I've used diet coke, diet vanilla coke, diet cream soda, and diet root beer along with Sweet n Low's sugar free chocolate syrup (10 calories per tbsp!! Found it at my Shop Rite. They also have strawberry and vanilla flavors at ZERO calories!! I've used those too! My fave is vanilla syrup and cream soda - ZERO calories total!!) I freeze the drink and periodically would chip away at it and refreeze to make a granita. Yummy stuff! Thanks Bergy!

This is such an easy & delicious treat. I used 2 tablespoons sugar free chocolate syrup to one 12 oz. can diet coke. I really enjoyed it. Thanks.

Suprisingly good, plus very quick and easy. I used Coke Zero and Hershey's syrup for a yummy treat. Thanks, Bergy!

Do you know, when I was working my way through college, I worked at a Walgreen's soda fountain and my co-workers and I fixed these for ourselves all the time. I have often been tempted to write to Coco-Cola and tell them to bottle this (I do like it better than the new coffee cola!). Anyway I was surprised and pleased to see this recipe here so I could fix it again. It reminded me of how much I had liked it. Thanks for the memories!

The chocolate in this cola makes a rich dessert like drink! It tastes like a float with a twist. My chocoalte syrup was a little thick so the last few sips were too strong, so make sure you use a thin syrup! I found this drink to be quite very yummy!! Thanks Bergy!!

Bergy, I have made this drink twice, hoping the 2nd time I would like it better than the first time, but still I did not care for how it tasted. Bergy, you have so many wonderful recipes, so I hope you won't hold it against me for not being able to give this recipe more than 2 stars. I am however glad to see others have enjoyed it!

Wow, this was big surprise hit with my family. I knew I would like it, but wasn't sure they would--they did. I made ours with diet coke and Hershey's chocolate syrup. So it was more like a 50 calorie treat, still not bad. Made for Australian/New Zealand recipe swap. Cheers to you, Bergy.

I love this!! I used to get this at the local drug store growing up. I saw this and just had to rate it.
