I love that this is for a small amount of potatoes! I actually just did 2 potatoes and cut back on everything to taste. I used 2% milk and they turned out great! So good! Thank you!

Easy, tasty, a bit ordinary but good. I made these with Drunken Garlic Crock Pot Roast and the gravy definitely jazzed them up a bit. Thanks for sharing.

This is perfect — I got raves at Thanksgiving for my mashed potatoes (and my husband's family is extraordinarily hard to please!) I followed the recipe to the "T", using half heavy cream and half milk.

These are good, basic mashed potatoes. I melted a pat of butter over each serving and let everyone add the amount of salt and pepper they wanted. Also used milk, since I didn't have cream. Thanks for the recipe.

Wow, were these fabulous and so easy to make. I love the hint of nutmeg, since I have never used it before. What a nice change! There is only two of us, I used three potatoes and made this recipe for 2 servings, using half-n-half. They came out wonderful! I served this along side chicken - Baked Parmesan Dijon Chicken Breasts and buttered corn niblets. I will be making these again very soon. We loved it!

Yes, this is ordinary, but it's exactly what I was looking for. I never really made homemade mashed potatoes before, and I wanted something simple to go with some chicken I made in the crockpot. Thanks! NOTE: I didn't add the nutmeg because I didn't have any on hand. They turned out great anyways.
