These bars taste great, but I think next time I will bake them in a smaller pan to get a thicker chocolate filling and also a thicker crust. I didn't have much batter left after covering the bottom of a 9x13 pan so the top was marbled like others have noted. Very easy to throw together and very easy to keep eating too!!

Delightfully rich, especially liked them warm and a little on the doughy side. Bake them too long and they do tend to dry out. Yummy!

These are great bars, and couldn't be easier to put together. Great peanut butter taste with a buttery crust. I made these with my homemnade sweetened condensed milk, and prepared them exactly as stated, they were just delicious! Thanks so much for posting, these are a winner!...Kittencal

To: Barbara Mooers: Holy Moley!!! These little hummers are scrumptious. Easy as pie to throw together. You definitely have a 5 star winner here. Thanks for sharing. Sincerely, Laudee

These Peanut Butter Squares were easy to make and tasty too. They are VERY sweet and definitely should be served with a tall glass of cold milk! I think they would be a great seller in a Bake Sale!

These are some tasty little bars! Might I mention a breeze to make as well? I forgot to add the butter to the chocolate filling, which I believe may have made it a little glossier than mine was. Also the topping could not be spread so I just "dropped" small spoonfuls over the top making it look like a cross between a struesel and cobbler. The family has asked me to make these again soon and I believe I shall humor them and do so. As others have said this is quite rich, so start off by cutting small squares and then adjust to your families tastes.

I'm not going to rate this because it did not turn out well for me, and reading all of the positive reviews I'm assuming it's something I did! I found that I didn't have enough of the batter to fill a 13x9 pan, so I used almost all of it to fill the bottom, so the top had a marble appearance, not like how it was pictured. The taste was great however, but I'm not sure what went wrong!

I'm rating these strickly on the basis of preperation. I made these for a friend, and since I'm being very very strict with my diet, I didn't try them, but man they sure smelled and looked great. I made them exactly as the recipe states. I cut them in 1 1/2"-2" pieces and got 30 of them. Thank you for posting these lovely recipe. And as a previous poster said, I usually keep these items in my pantry.

Amazing. Instead of chocolate chips I used a whole bags of peanut butter chips. Makes them more peanutty. Yum!
