We're on The South Beach eating plan so I had to tweak this just a bit by using kosher salt and olive oil. Because of personal preference, I used chicken tenders. My Dh took one bite and raved about this chicken. I misread the recipe (hanging my head in shame) and made an 'accidental' tweak.....I added the olive oil and lemon juice to the marinade. No harm done! The tenders were juicy and beautifully flavored. I then prepared more of the lemon juice/oil mixture and brushed a bit on each tender before serving. We were in Heaven! Next time (and there will be many next times) I will serve it with Greek salad, hummus and pita. Note: Due to inclement weather I broiled them in the oven....they were perfect! Thanks for sharing this great recipe, Greybert

This was SO good! I marinated the chicken for several hours, adding the lemon/oil mixture to the marinade instead, and cooked it all up on the stove. I also used less oil and it was still perfect. I'm definitely making this again, but at least doubling the recipe! It was actually great with a creamy pasta and I can't wait to make it for a variety of meals too.

My family voted — this is a keeper. For a fairly small amount of work this is a very good dish. I added oil and lemon juice to the marinade. I broiled these for about 4 minutes per side. Thanks for the recipe!

This was REALLY good and super easy. I made it for a family get together a few weeks ago and it got rave reviews. I didn't use the skewer's, but cooked the chicken in the oven and then wrapped in home made pita bread with tomato, cucumber, lettuce, feta cheese and greek dressing (oh and of course a healty dollop of tzatziki). My sister in law said it was some of the best Greek food she's had in a while. Thanks for the recipe. I will definitely be making again.

Oh my goodness..this is great ..I did it on the George Forman and turned out so good. Think I will decrease the oregano but nothing messed up the wonderful flavor...Wonderful job..Dinner is ready for Mark. Low in Sodium and High in Protein...Just can not go wrong...I wll for sure pass this one on.....Hugs and Thank You.

I made this for my daughter who spent 3 weeks in Greece and raved about the Souvlaki she had from the street vendors. This recipe is it!!!! Followed the directions exactly and used my George Forman Grill. Served it with a wild rice mixture and creamed spinach. What a delightful meal. Will make again and again.

These were just excellent. I halved the recipe for my husband and I, as I didn't think my little ones would eat them and my 4 1/2 year old wanted the chicken instead of her pizza pocket! I too served this with Kittencal's greek salad, #66596,(the BEST!...and it is!) and Mean's Tzatiki. I like DDW's suggestion of wrapping them in pita's....may try that sometime. These are FULL of flavour and were a nice change on the BBQ for us. I thought that maybe the lemon juice/oil mixture drizzled over them after grilling might make them too lemony but it was just perfect! Thank you so much Graybert, we thoroughly enjoyed these, So easy...loved them, will definitely be making again (and again!)

We loved this chicken! It was soooo simple and really delicious. I love the addition of the lemon juice and oil mixture which gave it a nice shine and just the right amount of lemon flavor. The only change I made was using olive oil with the lemon juice. We will be having this often, my family just loved it! Hope you like the pic as well.

What wonderful chicken!!! I can't believe how minimal ingredients tasted so....good. The only change I made was using olive oil instead of vegetable oil. Seved it with Mean's Tzatziki sauce wrapped in a pita, along with Kittencal's Greek Salad.

Very good! I marinated the chicken for 25 hours which made it really flavourful and made my fridge smell nice too! I also brushed the lemon/oil mixture over pita braeds before warming through in the oven wrapped in foil. Great!
