There are ingredients and there are steps. According to Merriam Webster's Collegiate dictonary the defination of a recipe is: "a set of instructions for making something from various ingredients". Not only does this list of ingredients and instructions constitute a recipe, it is an excellent recipe contrary to what the previous reviewer said. I guess humor and good recipes, like beauty, are in the eye of the beholder. This tastes good, is easy to make, and is a recipe that I would not and will not hesitate to share with family and friends. I also appreciate this recipe because I can have a nice treat for very few Weight Watchers points when using fat free cream cheese. Thank you Princess Buttercup for sharing it.

I made this even lighter by using fresh sliced strawberries instead of jam and Trader Joe's whole wheat cinnamon graham crackers. Yum-my!

You know I agree with Amber, this is a recipe and Yum! is even a part of it. ahem I wonder if kids just know how to make a BP&J sandwich or if maybe they follow the tried and true RECIPE that mom's have been using for years?! Yes this is a GREAT snack and in fact this is wonderfull with all kinds of spreads and jams, try jalapeno pepper or tangy marmelade...thanks for sharing indeeeeeed Princess Buttercup! There's no need for "spreading". I found that an 1/8 slice off the edge of a block of cream cheese fits perfectly (!) on a quarter sheet of a cracker! Place another quarter on top and you get a cookie sandwich. Four sandwiches, using fat free cream cheese, totals only 150 calories =)

This is WONDERFUL! I\'m on Weight Watchers, and always looking for low-fat versions of my fav recipes. I used one Crispy thin Kavli cracker, fat- free cream cheese and reduced- sugar strawberry preserves. I got a delicious cheesecake treat for 1 WW point!! Thank you EVER so much, and I\'m gonna share this with other WW members on my support group site, giving you due credit of course!

Yummy, yummy! I had a little cream cheese left from a recipe I was making this morning. As I was debating whether there was enough to even save, your nifty little treat popped in my mind. I was hungry as I hadn't eaten breakfast , so I grabbed that cream cheese, a few crackers and the strawberry jam---in a matter of seconds, breakfast was born! Thanks, Evelyn!

Delicious snack for sure and oh so simple to put together! I used graham crackers and cherry preserves. I also love the fact that you could put any kind of jam etc. on them according to your craving.

My husband thanks you.
I used low fat graham crackers (Honey Maid) and 2 TBS of fat free cream cheese SPREAD on each sheet. I then used sugar free strawberry GLAZE that I found at Wal-mart next to the Angel food (bar-shaped) cakes. It comes in a bag and has virtually NO calories to speak of in the TINY amt needed for this recipe. With the ingredients that I used, they work out to less than 80 calories for a full-sheet of graham cracker "cake"! Wonderful late night low-cal, guilt-free snack! Thanks so much!
TIP: Can't make these ahead and keep them in the fridge, they get soft and soggy. Best to assemble and eat.

I knew I'd like these but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked them! I used raspberry jam and graham crackers. This is going to be made often when I want a little treat. Thanks for sharing!

This made a great snack for me when I was in the hospital. The cafeteria has those little pkts. of cream cheese for bagels, so I grabbed a couple and some strawberry jelly. When my nurse asked me what I wanted for a snack, I chose graham crackers and a cup of coffee. When I told her my plans for the crackers, she went and got her some too! We both enjoyed them...Thanks for a great snack idea!
