This was a great salad. I didn't use onion, but added chopped green bell pepper, crumbled feta cheese and instead of plain olive oil I used basil flavored oil. I also added butter lettuce leaves. I let it marinate all day and I ate it for dinner last night...it was wonderful! Thanks for a great recipe...

I made this as a take to work lunch for me and my husband. We both loved it and thought the dressing was tasty. We both loved the flavor of the fresh basil, too. I ate mine along with a green salad. This salad is a good idea for a light lunch. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

I tasted it after 2 hours marinating and it was excellent! I took it to a picnic the same day. We did not eat it until 8 hours later. All the dressing had been soaked up by the pasta. It was okay, but not quite as tasty (to me). The crowd liked it - the salad was demolished.

It's been so hot this summer that I feel like every hot dish needs a "cool" side to it. Thus, when I made Balsamic Chicken Breasts (#91266), this seemed to be a perfect complement. It sure was — very tasty and complemented the main dish nicely. I made it about 4 hours in advance, and I thought the flavors blended really well. Some of the dressing was soaked up by the pasta, but there was still plenty left in the bowl. I added some spinach to the bowl just before serving, and we loved it. Thanks!

YUM! Definitely five stars! I added diced orange and red peppers for flavor and color (and I also used them because they'd likely go bad otherwise!) We ate this as a light dinner. Next time, I will serve it with fresh spinach, but this time I didn't have any around. Thanks for posting!

Today we had a late heavy lunch, so I made this for a light supper(normally I would grill chicken too). It was great. DH said he liked it 2 times and so this is a GREAT compliment!
Like Federico, I added spinach to the salad and a little extra basil as I didn't want the spinach flavor to overpower the basil.
It was terrific and we will make this again.
Thanks!!!

This recipe was delicious. A friend gave me fresh basil from her garden so I used it in this recipe. We both enjoyed it very much. I will definitely make again.

Made this for our 2004 Canada Day Celebration...Rating a recipe comes to me in different ways...this time I didn't get to try the salad...gone before I got into the line-up! So that means something good must have been going on in that bowl! It really did smell great when I was preparing and I plan to make this again and actually have some...my guests thought it was fabulous! Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Delightful! Fresh and light. Could be served as a light summertime meal or as a side dish. Would be great served at cookout this summer! Thank you for a wonderful recipe, Karen!

This was very good. I also added cucumbers, green peppers and a few cherry tomatoes because I had them on hand. The dressing is what makes this really good - I think you could add all sorts of veggie combinations and it would turn out good.
