UNUSUAL, to say the least, & exactly what those in the seveeral groups I host monthly have come to expect from me! So, this recipe just reached out & grabbed me! These little buggers ARE ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING, & I have a group of 15 who will attest to that! Using dark chocolate chips, I followed the recipe exactly, resulting in an outstanding, great combination of tastes in these cookies! Thanks for sharing this great keeper! [Made & reviewed for one of my adopted chefs in this Spring's PAC]

my sister-in-law made these and they really are good. They aren't weird they are just a darn good cookie! great texture and flavors--I'm not a big fan of maple but the maple in these cookies is not at all overpowering.
