This was very good. I also used skinless bone-in thighs and used crimini mushrooms. Because tomatoes are not in season yet I used a 15 oz can, drained, for a half recipe. This was very easy and tasty and the chicken was super tender after the long braise. I thought the sauce could use a little more seasoning but that is probably just personal taste. Thanks for the recipe!

To quote my husband, "it's a keeper!". I used boneless, skinless chicken thighs and only had to bake for 30 minutes. I definitely will be making this again. Made for PRMR.

5 Stars, this goes into rotation, exactly our type of dish. Used boneless chicken breasts and baby bella mushrooms and 2 cans of diced tomatoes. Cheesecake Factory's Mashed Potatoes #183993 made a good side, as you can begin the potato recipe just after the chicken is placed in the oven. Made for Please Review My Recipe.

This was a very good chicken dish. The sauce for this dish was devine. I also had to use canned tomatoes since thats all I had in my house, but it sti;; came out great.

This reminded me so much of a recipe Mum used to make years ago! I used about 8 boned chicken thighs and the chicken was just fall apart tender. Cooked in the oven a lot slower, 125C for about 2 1/2 hours and by the time it was ready everything just melted together beautifully. Served with Mini Potato Gratins and some steamed peas.

Very nice flavors. I used boneless chicken breasts. Our only complaint was that the sauce was really juicy. The mushrooms really enhanced the chicken. Thank you for a nice recipe Penuma.

Yummy! This was so easy to prepare and make. I kept to the recipe except used coriander as garnish, because I ran out of basil and didn't have any thyme leaves. I used skinless on the bone thigh pieces and it was so tender. The flavours were very lovely and Little Miss (DD) really enjoyed the mushrooms. Thank you Pneuma

We really enjoyed this chicken dish! We halved the recipe with great results to suit 1.5 lb of chicken pieces. The dish comes together quickly and easily. I did all of the steps using my dutch oven. I used fresh tomatoes and shiitake mushrooms, and the sauce was very delicious. DH suggested that next time we make this that we season the chicken itself more heavily and I agree. I served this with Rita's Roasted Cauliflower & 16 Roasted Cloves of Garlic as a side as well as some garlic bread. We would definitely make this dish again. Thanks for posting!

Made & reviewed for ZWT $ ~ for Kumquat's Kookin' Kaboodles! Pneuma you've done it again - this is another amazingly delicious recipe! The chicken is so moist, tender & juicy. The sauce is just perfect with it & we all enjoyed this with mashed potato. I had to make a couple of subs but it was still outstanding! Thanks again Pneuma

Wonderful chicken recipe! We used boneless skinless chicken breasts and baby bella mushrooms since I prefer them. Instead of the sherry we substituted chicken broth and a large can of petite diced tomaotes for the fresh. The sauce was so good and the chicken very moist and tender. Served with brown rice and and steamed veggies. Thank you for posting hon! Made and reviewed for Adopt A TAg.
