Easy to make cheese dip and so good! I used one package of the ranch dressing mix and dried chives instead of the green onions. Also used 1/2 cup of Miller Lite beer to get it to a creamier consistency. This will be a family favorite! Thank you Mean Jeanne for posting this recipe.

This is the greatest! Works on crackers, veggies, anything! Easy and quick, I only refrigerated 2 or 3 hours. Everyone loved it. Personally I like it best with celery!

A friend made this for a pot luck party and it's delicious! There were no leftovers to bring home and everyone asked for the recipe. It will definitely be a requested recipe at parties.

My sister makes a similar recipe without the ranch mix which I love. This one was even better, the ranch mix add such a nice flavor!

I remember eating a dip like this about 10 years ago, and I've never forgotten how delicious it was! Recently, I remembered it when trying to come up with a football game menu, and of course went to recipezaar for a highly-rated version of the recipe to try. I was not disappointed! This dip is great with veggies, potato chips, and (my favorite) pretzels! The last step, refrigeration overnight, is not completely necessary but really helps all of the flavors blend together. It's even better after two days. Also, I use whipped cream cheese to cut down on the fat, and the taste isn't affected at all (However, I have also tried using fat-free cream cheese, which is NOT a good substitute!). I definitely recommend this recipe as a welcome variant from the traditional ranch or french onion dip! Great game day food!

A really tasty twist on the original! I wasn't too sure about it the first day, but WOW! It was a definite second-day hit at our house! Will make again...thanks for posting it!
