I made this for my BF for breakfast this morning and he loved it... I didn't have enough milk so I added in a little whipping cream. I am sure it just added to the richness... LOL I usually just add in a little cinnamon to the egg mixture, but adding to the toast itself really added some crunch that he loved. Thanks for an easy breakfast tsure to please anyone!

This was good!! The french toast did taste like a snickerdoodle cookie. It was easy and quick to make. Has ingredients I usually have on hand. I will be making this again. Especially for kids. Thanks for sharing your recipe iewe made for PAC Spring '08

A great breakfast and an easy way to use up older, drier bread. I followed the recipe, and let the bread soak until it took up all the liquid. 'Dressed' it with some maple syrup. Yummo!

We did this as our special holiday breakfast today and it was a real treat. Very sweet indeed, but loved the crispy goodness the cinnamon and sugar gives to this french toast. My 2yo especially liked this one, you just might convert him from a pancake lover to french toast. = ) Thanks! Family Picks for ZWT 4 For the Cookin' Cats

Delicious! We really enjoyed this sweet, eggy French toast. The cinnamon/sugar mixture added a nice crispy crust when cooked. I used a thick Texas Toast style bread because that is my preference when making French toast. I served this with warm maple syrup, although it really didn't need it because it was sweet enough by itself. I will be making this often. Thanks for sharing. Made for ZWT4

This was delicious. I'm not a big fan of the cookie, but I do like it as French Toast! I used Italian bread and sliced it about 1 inch thick. Made for ZWT4: Family Picks.

Mmmmmmm! So good! I used 3 slices of bread, one egg and 1/4 cup soy milk. I also added a dash of orange zest. A quick and easy breakfast that is filling and delicious. Made for ZWT4 Family Picks.

This is wonderful!! Finally a french toast just like I make it but with the addition of the cinnamon & sugar. I used whole wheat bread and did add a dash of nutmeg to the egg mixture (old habit). My kids do not "do" syrup and usually sprinkle cinnamon & sugar on their french toast - this helped me control the amounts and just made it all go quickly. I can see this being a great "on the go" breakfast for my HS daughter who never seems to have enough time to eat b-fast before school. She could take this with her. Definite keeper for our family! Thanks iewe for sharing!! Made through "I Recommend...." tag game.

The kids were begging for French Toast and taking into consideration their recent obsession with Charmie's Snickerdoodles, I knew this was the recipe to try. I used a loaf of French bread and I guess I should have made more because I barely got any! A definite kid pleaser. Add that one to the old recipe box....Thanks! Made for ZWT4.
