This is a good recipe. I like the variation on the theme. I did end up adding about 3/4 of a cup extra sugar and about 1/2 cup extra cocoa. This will make great gifts. :D Thank you!

This recipe is fantastic, thank you! I was unable to locate confectioners sugar in the supermarket so instead added just 2/3 cup of caster sugar which worked well. Also, I really liked the cinnamon taste and added 5 teaspoons of cinnamon. Am looking forward to giving this as a gift!

Delicious!!! I made up a batch, and it beats the pants off any commercial hot chocolate mix on the market. It's especially good made with a shot of chocolate liqueur - mmm, pure indulgence. I'm going to mix up another batch to give as gifts. Thanks, Sue!

I left out the marshmallows. This was really good! To the second batch I added a bit of powdered cardamom and cloves, and I was very pleased with the result.

This was absolutely wonderful. I made up a batch to put in Christmas gift baskets, and now there's a big jar of it in our pantry, too. Really wonderful for gift-giving — thanks!

I thirded the recipe, omitted the non-dairy creamer, and added a dash of clove powder to the results. Marshmallows were added at mixing time depending on the mood. I like it!

Oh SueL, as usual, another wonderful recipe. I also used splenda instead of sugar, and cut back on the marshmallows a bit. I love Mexican hot chocolate and this was quite delish! Thanks for a keeper SueL. Made for Comfort Cafe, Jan 2009.
