Cake was very good. Everyone enjoyed. It was very moist. I liked that it was different from the usual cake. However, it was a bit sweet for me. I did need to bake it 50 minutes.

I baked this for my dad's 57th birthday and was SO HAPPY I did! Everyone was going on about how moist it was,how they loved the sugar on the outside,a great combination of flavors,etc.,etc.,etc. My dad even declared it,"The BEST cake he's EVER HAD"! Thanks so much for sharing a GREAT recipe!

5 stars for sure. Really excellent cake. Very easy to make. I just use some Mrs. Butter-Worth's from the cupboard and a container of Duncan Hines frosting. Drizzle a little cream cheese icing on top. Everyone loves it.Yummy! Have made this many times now and so has my sister

Amazing cake! Never heard of a cake that includes frosting IN the cake, but it sure makes it moist! Very sweet so a small piece goes a long way. Thanks for sharing!
