Great recipe! The only change I made was to add about half a cup of medium chunky salsa and I chopped up two small chili peppers to throw in! It was delicious! The rice tasted great and was just a bit spicy.. the way we like it! Thanks for sharing this great recipe Kim!

My husband is an extremely picky eater, he told me this was a definate keeper and I must agree. The pork chops were moist and tasty and the rice was an excellent finish.

Tried this last night and loved it! I added chopped onion and chopped garlic to the bell pepper, and used brown rice. The chops were tender and the rice mixture was moist and savory. I can hardly wait to eat the leftovers! Will make this again soon; thanks for a great recipe!

We thought this was a terrific pork chop casserole. Easy to make. The rice really soaked up the taco seasoning and had great flavor. I used about 1 cup of cheese on top. Thanks Kim D.

I made this in a skillet, as my oven is broken and the new stove hasn't arrived yet. I first browned the chops in oil with the seasoning salt and pepper. I removed them from the skillet and, in the pan, stirred together the rice mixture, then put the chops on top, covered, and let cook until about halfway done. I put green pepper strips on some of the chops(DH doesn't like it), covered, and continued cooking until done. As I didn't have any cheddar, I laid a slice if process cheese on each chop and replaced the cover, just to melt it. Forgot to mention, I used brown rice. I no longer use white rice. The brown rice worked beautifully, but took much longer to cook. This recipe is absolutely fantastic! It is SO DELICIOUS! I will continue to make this on the stovetop because of the fabulous results, and using my oven for long periods is so expensive here. This is going into my personal cookbook to be used again and again.

I, too, sauted some chopped onions and added to it along with a little more of the taco seasoning mix. This is very good!

Fantastic and super tender! I used more taco seasoning than mentioned, and it was terrific. Thanks!

These pork chops are really good! My daughter made them for us (from the "Taste of Home" magazine a few years ago. They have become a staple pork chop recipe for us ever since. I dropped the green pepper from this recipe since my husband is not fond of it. Otherwise, I wouldn't touch a thing!

My husband thought I was crazy when I told him what I was cooking. He enjoyed the dish and asked that I make it for him to take to work for a potluck dinner. I also added rotelle to the rice. Great recipe, Thanks.
